Why Our Prices May Differ from MRP

At The Tangy Bites, we believe in keeping our snacks and products affordable while also ensuring quality and safe delivery. However, there are several reasons why some products may be priced slightly higher than their printed MRP:

1. Limited Market Availability

Many of our nostalgic snacks are not easily available in Malout or nearby markets.

We source them from other cities, which increases transportation costs.

2. Packaging Costs

Since we deal in food products, proper and safe packaging is a must.

We use quality boxes according to product size, costing anywhere between ₹10 to ₹80 per box, plus sealing and protective materials.

3. Shipping Costs

We charge a flat ₹80 per order from customers.

In reality, courier companies charge us more based on weight (for example, Amazon Shipping charges ₹66 for 500g, and higher rates for packages up to 4kg).

We do not pass on this extra cost to our customers.

4. Website & Payment Gateway Costs

Running and maintaining our website involves monthly expenses.

On every online order, a small percentage is deducted by our payment gateway (Cashfree or others).

5. Affordable Pricing Policy

Despite these extra costs, our pricing remains very affordable.

Most products on our site range between ₹15 to ₹100 only.

The small difference of ₹20–₹30 above MRP helps cover transport, packing, and shipping costs.

Instead of charging separately for packaging and shipping, we adjust it within the product price for customer convenience.

 

Offline Store Option

If you still wish to purchase at printed MRP, you are most welcome to visit our physical store in Malout.

At our store, customers can find most items at their original MRP without additional charges.

 

Cancellations

Orders once packed and shipped cannot be cancelled.
